Mission ... to provide valued social roles for adults with mental retardation and / or developmental disabilities.  This is achieved through meaningful, naturally integrated community based activities, as well as a variety of on-site training activities.

Opportunities will be individually developed to maximize personal preferences, capacities and life-skill competencies.  Our goal is to develop and enhance functional relationships through community involvement with non-disabled peers. 

The individuals and /or parents may chose at any time to participate in our Supported Employment Program.

How much does it cost?
  • Tuition based program- rates are based on level of individual supervision needed.

  • Options Unlimited is certified as a SCL provider and accepts individuals determined eligible by Medicaid waiver.

  • Transportation is provided during the day by Options Unlimited.

  • Transportation to and from Adult Day Habilitation Program provided by the family

What is the SCL?

SCL or Supports for Community Living is a waiver under the Kentucky Medicaid program and was developed for Kentucky residents as an alternative to institutional care for an individual with mental retardation or developmental disabilities. SCL allows an individual to remain in or return to the community.

Who is eligible?

Individuals with mental retardation or developmental disabilities who meet the requirements for residence in an Intermediate Care Facility for persons with Mental Retardation ICF/MR, and who meet other Medicaid requirements.
