Willie Byrd
has been the Executive Director at Options Unlimited since January,
1996. He oversees the Supported Employment and Day Program operations as
well as providing service directly to clients. Willie manages the
fundraising activities including our Bingo and other fund raising
activities. Willie was on the Board of Directors of Kentucky APSE from
1998 to 2006 and served as the Legislative Liaison. He is also working
on a committee to establish a United Way Chapter in Bullitt County.
Willie earned a Master Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the
University of Kentucky in 1984. His previous work experience includes 7
additional years in supported employment.

Brian Stinnett graduated from Brescia College with a Bachelor in Special Education K-12, LBD and a Communications Degree in Regular Ed 5th-8th. Brian has been working for Options in Supported Employment since April 1, 1999. Brian taught 6th-8th grade Special Education for two years prior to joining the staff at Options. In 2006 Brian received the Timothy D. Estes Award for Imagination and Innovation in the area of Supported Employment |

Libby Gootee has been an Employment Specialist at Options since June of 2000. Prior to joining the Options staff Libby worked in a federal program called the Summer Youth Program three years with under privileged high school students as a Job Placement Specialist and as an Instructional Assistant with Spencer County High School students with disabilities for 4 years. Libby currently works with several individuals in supportive employment who are receiving the SCL waiver.

Ruth Moore
is a single parent of seven children and has worked for
Spencer
County High School for eleven
years as a job coach for the Community Based Work Transition Program
prior to coming to Options Unlimited. Her last child will graduate high
school in 2007. She enjoys working in her yard and spoiling her three
grandchildren. Ruth started working at Options in June of 2004 and has
really enjoy working as an employment specialist. She graduated from
Dupont Manual
High School in 1972 and has some business education. Although Ruth does
not have any formal training working with special needs individuals she
has a natural talent and enjoys her work and finding good jobs for the
clients

Jamie Lemak joined Options as the Program Manager in the Shelbyville Office August 2001. Jamie graduated from the University of Louisville with a Bachelors degree in Psychology. While pursuing her degree Jamie took several courses in American Sign Language and Deaf related classes. This experience allowed Jamie to establish the Deaf Program at Options and in January of 2003 she relocated to the Shepherdsville office to work full time with the Deaf population in Supported Employment. This program moved its office to the Center for Accessible Living in Louisville in March 2005. She is currently pursuing her second Bachelors degree in Sign Language Interpreting through Eastern Kentucky University at University of Louisville. |

Bonnie Andaya joined the staff of Options Unlimited in November, 2004. She graduated from the University of Louisville in the American Sign Language Interpreter Training Program in May, 2005. While pursuing her degree, Bonnie received a flyer at school advertising a job with Options Unlimited. She was very curious and felt that it would be a good opportunity. It turns out that Bonnie was right. She has really enjoyed working with her co-workers and Deaf clients and Bonnie continues to work with the Deaf Supported Employment program in downtown Louisville. |

Trish Gheen Goins joined the staff at Options in the Shelbyville Office as the Program Manager in January 2003. Trish has an Associates Degree in Human Services Technology from Edison State Community College in Ohio. Trish worked for 11 years with the County Board of MR / DD at Riverside of Miami County in Troy, Ohio. Trish helped to develop the Adult Recreation Program and worked several years with Special Olympics. Trish worked 2 years in Supported Employment at BAWAC in Northern Kentucky prior to coming to Options Unlimited. Trish serves on the state board of KYAPSE (Association for Persons in Supported Employment. |

Rozelle Hawkins joined the Options Unlimited staff in April 2004 at the Shelbyville Office. Rozelle has worked the last 22 years at the Shelbyville Post Office and prior to that she was a medical assistant in Louisville. Rozelle shares she has always wanted to work with individuals with disabilities. Then she was blessed with a granddaughter with Downs Syndrome in 2001and this intensified her interest. Because of her dreams and goals for her granddaughter she now has joined in this type of work. Rozelle has lived all her life in Shelbyville, she is active in her local church and has a special interest in missions. |

Adult Day Training Program Staff |

Amy Coffer began her employment as a Program Aide at Options Unlimited in December of 2004 and in June of 2006 was promoted to the Adult Day Training Program Director. She began her career as a community living instructor and job coach with adults with disabilities, and enjoys the intense interactive relationship she has with the clients and staff at the Day Program. Amy is a mother and full-time student at the University of Louisville, as well as a full-time employee at Options.

Robert Meng joined the staff in August 2005 with the Options Adult Day Training Program. Robert is a graduate of Illinois State University with his bachelors in Education. Robert has had over 10 years experience working with adults with special needs. He has also worked with CAKY-ResCare for over 5 years in their group home setting. Robert enjoys working with the clients and staff at the Day Program. |
